I like Oregon. Maybe I should marry a hipster girl from Oregon and we can live in the Portland metropolitan area. However, from the looks of the ward today, the odds are not in my favour. Possibly Ocean's 14 could help me beat the odds of the summer girl scene, or the lack thereof. I'm not a gambling man, but Kenny Loggins' "The Gambler" can be applied to this, particularly a) when to walk away and b) when to run. I guess it's a good thing that the Nike world campus is across the street. Someday I'll catch a falling star and put it in my pocket, save it for a rainy day. Until that day comes, I've got one hand in my pocket and the other one's giving a peace sign.
